I am so happy, because the day finally arrived! My new Tokidoki® Barbie® doll arrived safely to be welcomed as part of my doll collection. I am so very excited to share this with all of you and to share my honest opinion about this doll that just came out.

As some of you may know, I love collecting dolls, among them barbie(R) dolls. This week has been a little chaotic, because in celebration of Tokidoki (R)´s 10th anniversary, both Tokidoki(R) and Barbie(R) joined super designer power to bring a new doll, which I personally have been anxiously waiting for. I am sure that collectors from both brands had been waiting for a while to see if the rumors were true. I know I was! The date was set for September 1st 2015.

After two years of hunting for this doll, I finally made her part of my beloved collection. I love that I can be working and turn to my left, see my doll display case, and there she is, inspiring beauty to my day.

The Hope Diamond Barbie® doll is a breathtaking doll, worthy of any collector's display case. Her stunning dress and jewelry took my breath away ever since the first time I saw her. I knew deep within my heart, she had to be part of my collection.

Ever since I was little, I started collecting different things; trading cards, stamps, coins, books, comic-books, and toys. Among those toys I had action figures and dolls. Most of the dolls that I collected and continue to collect are Barbie® Dolls, because it was something that I feel connects me with my mother's childhood. My first dolls included some vintage dolls my mom had, plus my own. I was taught by my mom that if I really take care of my toys, that one day my children could enjoy them too. Worried about how economy tends to drastically change and affect entire families, I thought that collecting different things added value to your goods. You ended up having something that in case of an emergency you could sell, and let someone else enjoy.
